Thanks to the DuraSkin® anti-tear fabric, the Grand Prix 4-Season withstands even extreme conditions. In the Paris-Roubaix race, cyclists in the "Hell of the North" who have used DuraSkin® tires have faced the fewest tire-related problems during the race.

Thanks to a particularly abrasion-resistant carbon compound, this tire is described as excellent in wear-resistance and great with grip on wet roads and in low temperatures. The Grand Prix 4-Season is available in 23 mm, 25 mm, and 28 mm versions to allow for the right tire choice based on different surfaces and comfort preferences.

The double Vectran Breaker layer beneath the tread elevates cut and puncture protection to the highest level. The Continental GP 4-season sets the standard: full marks for all features! Vectran
Vectran is a puncture protection developed and patented by Continental that:

• Is lighter and more flexible and offers more effective protection than equivalent nylon puncture protection.
• Does not weaken the tire's rolling resistance.
• Is a high-tech fiber manufactured synthetically, based on natural model.
• Is a liquid crystal polymer (LCP), like a spider’s web.
• Is spun from molten Vectra liquid polymer and further processed into a multi-filament yarn.

Like a spider’s web, Vectran resists tearing extremely well yet remains lightweight. These very properties make it an excellent material for high-performance puncture protection in Continental tires.

DuraSkin®
