Made in Germany - the RaceSport and ProTection models utilize the BlackChili compound, combining protection and speed.

Despite the coarse tread, the Cross King rolls quickly and lightly. The ProTection with special puncture protection is designed for heavy use, whereas the lighter RaceSport version is more suited for trail riding and marathon tracks.

BlackChili is Continental's highly developed rubber compound that creates 26% less rolling resistance and 30% more grip than a standard compound. It also extends durability by 5%!

Thanks to the ProTection technology, the tires have a perfect balance of smooth rolling, grip, and puncture resistance. This is achieved through an extra puncture protection layer that makes the tire highly durable and thoroughly protected against damage. Despite the extra layer, the tire has excellent damping qualities and performs well in the toughest terrains.

ProTection models are also compatible with Tubeless rims.
