EFFICIENT POWER TRANSMISSION

Wheel Energy Ltd's lab is one of the few in the world specializing in measuring power transmission efficiency loss. This domestic lab, used by professional teams and even our competitors, was an important partner in the development of Rex Black Diamond. In a dynamometer test simulating a three-hundred kilometer race, Rex Black Diamond achieved the best results, outperforming competing high-end chain oils. The test protocol was developed by Wheel Energy without instructions from Rex. Beyond lab tests, Black Diamond has also claimed victories in races, including a stage win at the Tour de France in its launch year, 2019.

DIAMOND-LIKE LUBRICATION

The secret to our best chain oil lies in the diamond-hard and durable Black Diamond particles, which are mixed in small batches into the lubricant through a time-consuming ultrasound process to ensure superior quality. When the power transmission is in motion, the particles form an extremely durable and diamond-hard surface layer on metal-to-metal contact areas, significantly enhancing the chain oil’s lubricating properties: less internal chain friction, reduced wear, and better lubrication in wet conditions.
