• In e-bikes, chains and gears are subjected to greater forces than usual. Small gear sizes, low cadence, and high power create a combination that wears out chains and gears quickly. By choosing the right chain oil, you can prolong the lifespan of the chains by up to six times. 
• While in motion, Black Diamond E's nanoparticles form an extremely durable and low-friction surface layer on metal-to-metal contact surfaces, significantly enhancing the lubrication properties of the chain oil. • Friction and wear go hand in hand. By using Rex Black Diamond E, you significantly reduce the wear and tear on your e-bike's drivetrain. Components need less frequent replacement, allowing you to focus on riding instead of bike maintenance. The overall savings during the riding season can be several hundred euros. The total operating costs of the bike decrease, and the chain oil pays for itself many times over. Extending the life of the drivetrain with Black Diamond E is easy: lubricate the chain occasionally and keep it clean by wiping the surface with a cloth from time to time. In the Zero Friction Cycling tests, Black Diamond performed even better with a 1000 km lubrication interval than with a 400 km interval. 

Improved formulation

• We took the Black Diamond formula and made it even better for e-bikes in two ways. Nano-tungsten disulfide (WS2) enhances the pressure resistance of the lubricant and further reduces friction levels. Used together with Black Diamond nanoparticles, a synergistic effect is achieved: using both additives in optimal amounts results in a product that is greater than the sum of its parts. We mix both nano additives into the oil and wax blend using ultrasonic treatment for the best results. We also added Rex's N-Kinetic™ hydrophobic polymers to the formulation. They grant Black Diamond E better rust prevention capabilities than our previous chain oils and prevent the oil from thickening in cold conditions. Maintenance is also easier as the chain is easier to wipe clean than before.
