The 12-degree backsweep, or backward bend, ensures a natural transition of upper body load between the arm and palm, especially when riding downhill. The ergonomic hand position promotes wrist circulation and reduces nerve strain during long bike rides. Thanks to the 4-degree upsweep, or upward bend, the elbows are positioned perfectly for a dynamic riding posture.
