ION's top-tier trail and race-focused clipless cycling shoe. The Rascal Select offers more than just unparalleled power transmission to the pedal: its construction combines stiffness along the longitudinal axis with flexibility across the lateral axis and the upper. This torsional construction principle helps to keep your foot from tipping on the pedal. Special climbing and pedal zones on the tread ensure traction on and off the pedal.

The BOA® Fit system on the upper instep ensures a quick, effortless, and precise fit. It provides agility and speed through a seamless connection between equipment and body. While the inner lining feels velvety soft when you put the shoes on, it shows its rough side if your heel slips out while riding thanks to the one-sided roughened structure of the material. As the Rascal Select is designed for downhill riding, ION placed the cleat further back compared to all-mountain shoes.

The cushioning EVA midsole absorbs impacts while the rubberized heel and reinforced toe cap are designed to absorb and dissipate forces when the foot hits rocks or roots, protecting both the shoe and the rider. The asymmetrically shaped shaft protects the foot on the crank side while still offering full freedom of movement.

The durable PU main fabric guarantees a long life for this premium shoe. Breathable mesh inserts on the forefoot area ensure a pleasant climate inside.
