How does SpeedBox 3.3 for Giant work?

SpeedBox 3.3 Giant – Power and Freedom for E-biking! A reliable third-generation tuning chip for your Giant e-bike. The SpeedBox 3.3 tuning kit removes the speed limiter from your e-bike. After installation, your bike's display shows precise information, including maximum and average speed, daily distance traveled, and remaining range. Make your e-biking limitless!

Activation.

The SpeedBox 3.3 tuning kit is activated directly from the e-bike's control unit using the WALK assist function briefly. Do not activate while riding. When activation is successful, the bike's display shows a value of 5.0 km/h, and the speed limitation is removed, allowing speeds up to 50 km/h.

You can also change the default speed limit to your desired value (max. 50 km/h), however, to avoid error codes, we recommend a maximum limit of 35 km/h.

SpeedBox 3.3 is also designed for e-bikes without a traditional control unit with a WALK button. In these cases, tuning can be activated with the - + - + button combination. Deactivation is done in the same way.

Speed programming.

You can set the maximum speed of electric assistance by switching three levels down and then three levels up (⭣⭣⭣⭡⭡⭡). After this, the actual speed limit appears on the display. The maximum speed of electrical assistance can be changed by briefly pressing the WALK button or turning the rear wheel 360°. The display value 1.5 km/h corresponds to a limit of 15 km/h, 2 km/h corresponds to a limit of 20 km/h, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last displayed limit is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

After the ride – important!

When you finish riding, do not turn off the bike immediately. Wait until 0.0 km/h appears on the display, showing the remaining time. Once this process is complete, you can safely turn off the bike and get ready for your next ride.
