How does SpeedBox 3.3 B.Tuning for Yamaha PW-X3, PW-S2 work?

An intelligent third-generation tuning chip that allows you to adjust the speed limit of your e-bike according to your needs. With the SpeedBox 3.3 B.Tuning chip, you can select the desired speed limit. Once the chip is installed, your e-bike's display shows real data such as maximum and average speeds, daily distance traveled, and remaining range. You can also connect SpeedBox to your phone using the SpeedBox App.

Activation

Speedbox B.Tuning can be activated directly from the mobile app or from your e-bike's display. After pressing the Light button or ↑↓↑↓, the display will show a value of 99 km/h, and from then on, you can ride without a speed limit. You can deactivate the tuning kit by pressing the Light button or ↑↓↑↓ again. The display will show a value of 25 km/h, and the speed limit will be reset to 25 km/h. Your e-bike will then function as it did before the chip was installed.

SpeedBox is also designed for e-bikes without a classic control unit. In this case, you can just use the ↑↓↑↓ button combination to activate SpeedBox. You can easily deactivate SpeedBox in the same way.

Speed Programming.

You can set the maximum speed of the electrical assistance from the assistance buttons by changing the mode three levels down and then three levels up (↓↓↓↑↑↑). After this, the display will show the actual speed limit. The maximum speed of the electric assistance can be changed by briefly pressing the Light button and turning the rear wheel 360°. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity. In the Bluetooth version, you can also program the speed via the SpeedBox App.
