How does the SpeedBox 3.2 for Yamaha PW-X, SE, TE, X2, ST work?
This is a smart third-generation tuning chip that allows you to adjust the speed limit of your e-bike according to your needs. With the SpeedBox 3.2 tuning chip, you can select your desired speed limit. Once the chip is installed, your e-bike's display will show accurate data, such as maximum and average speed, daily trip distance, and remaining range.
Activation.
The SpeedBox can be activated directly from your bike's display. After pressing the Light button or ↑↓↑↓, the display will show a value of 99 km/h, and from this point on, you can ride at unlimited speed. You can deactivate the tuning kit by pressing the Light button or ↑↓↑↓ again. The display will show a value of 25 km/h, and the speed limit will be reset to 25 km/h. Your e-bike will then function as it did before the chip was installed.
The SpeedBox is also designed for e-bikes without a classic control unit. In this case, you can simply use the ↑↓↑↓ button combination to activate the SpeedBox. You can easily deactivate the SpeedBox in the same way.
Speed Programming.
You can also set the maximum speed of the electric assistance from the assistance buttons by switching the mode three levels down and then three levels up (↓↓↓↑↑↑). The display will then show the actual speed limit. The maximum speed of the electric assistance can be changed by briefly pressing the Light button and rotating the rear wheel 360°. The last displayed limit is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
