After riding – important!

When you finish your ride, do not turn off the bike immediately. Wait for the display to show 0.0 km/h, and the remaining time will appear. Once this process is complete, you can safely turn off the bike and get ready for your next ride.

E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products must not be used on public roads, bike paths, or public spaces. E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products may only be used on private property and at your own risk. Using SpeedBox might void your bike's warranty. We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective gear to prevent injuries.

We do not recommend updating your bike's software as it may affect the operation of the box.

How does SpeedBox 3.2 for Giant work?

SpeedBox 3.2 Giant – Power and Freedom for E-biking! A reliable third-generation tuning chip for your Giant e-bike. The SpeedBox 3.2 tuning kit removes the speed limiter of your e-bike. After installation, your bike's display will show accurate data such as maximum and average speeds, daily trip distance, and remaining range. Make your e-biking limitless!

Activation.

The SpeedBox 3.2 tuning kit is activated directly from the e-bike's control unit by briefly using the WALK assist function. Do not activate it while riding. When activation is successful, a value of 5.0 km/h will appear on the bike's display, and the speed limitation will be removed, allowing speeds of up to 50 km/h.

You can also change the default speed limit to your desired value (max. 50 km/h), but to avoid error codes, we recommend a limit of no more than 35 km/h.

SpeedBox 3.2 is also designed for e-bikes without a traditional control unit with a WALK button. In these cases, tuning can be activated using a - + - + button combination. Deactivation is done in the same way.

Speed Programming.

You can set the maximum speed of the electric assistance by switching modes three levels down and then three levels up (⭣⭣⭣⭡⭡⭡). After this, the display will show the actual speed limit. The maximum speed of the electric assistance can be changed by briefly pressing the WALK button or by rotating the rear wheel 360°. The display value of 1.5 km/h corresponds to a limit of 15 km/h, 2 km/h corresponds to 20 km/h, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 to 30 km/h, 9.9 to 99 km/h, and so on. The last shown limit is stored after 5 seconds of inactivity.

After the Ride – Important!

When you finish your ride, do not turn off the bike immediately. Wait until 0.0 km/h appears on the display, showing the remaining time. Once this process is completed, you can safely turn off the bike and prepare for your next ride.
