An intelligent third generation tuning chip for the Haibike FLYON range. The SpeedBox 3.0 tuning chip allows you to set the speed limit to your desired level. After installation, your e-bike's display will show accurate data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance, and remaining range.

How Does SpeedBox 3.0 for Flyon TQ Work?

An intelligent third-generation tuning chip for the Haibike FLYON range. The SpeedBox 3.0 tuning chip lets you set the speed limit at your desired level. After installation, your e-bike display shows accurate data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance traveled, and remaining range.

Activation.

The SpeedBox 3.0 tuning chip is activated via the e-bike's control unit. To activate or deactivate the tuning, use the button sequence → ← → ←, switching between assistance modes twice. The speed limit value will briefly appear on the display, and the motor will assist you up to this speed.

To disable the tuning, repeat the button sequence → ← → ←. The display will show a cadence value of 25 rpm, and the speed limit will revert to 25 km/h. Your bike will operate as it did before the chip installation.

Speed Programming.

Setting the maximum speed for electric assistance is achieved by switching the assistance mode in the following order: EXTREME → HIGH → MID → LOW → MID → HIGH → EXTREME. The final speed limit will appear on the display. Speed can also be set by spinning the rear wheel approximately 180°. The displayed cadence value correlates with the speed limit as follows:

15 rpm = 15 km/h
20 rpm = 20 km/h
25 rpm = 25 km/h
30 rpm = 30 km/h
99 rpm = 99 km/h

The most recent speed limit shown is automatically saved after five seconds of inactivity.

Installation

The SpeedBox uses original connectors, making the installation of the tuning chip in your e-bike very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to facilitate the installation. You can find the installation guide in the downloadable files. The removal of the tuning chip is just as straightforward. If you encounter any problems during installation or removal, feel free to contact us.

If you plan to install the SpeedBox in a brand-new bike, make sure to ride the bike for at least 10 km before activating the chip.
