SpeedBox 1.3 for Bafang (4 pin connector)

The SpeedBox 1.3 is designed for electric bikes with a Bafang motor. This tuning kit removes the speed limiter, allowing a speed of up to 50 km/h with motor assist. It is compatible with Bafang motors that use both UART and CAN protocols.

How does the SpeedBox 1.3 for Bafang M300, M400, M420 work?

The SpeedBox 1.3 can be activated from the e-bike's control panel. Press the LIGHT button, and the light activity icon will briefly appear on the screen. Afterwards, you can ride at speeds up to 50 km/h. Deactivate the chip by pressing the LIGHT button again.

If you want to use both the lights and the SpeedBox simultaneously, also purchase the Bafang light cable.
