SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning for Shimano E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000

 

Important to note before ordering!

There are two versions of the SpeedBox 1.2 available. Check the status of the E-Tube ports on your e-bike:

  • If your bike has a free E-Tube port, you can order the standard version.
  • If there is no free E-Tube port, choose the +E-Tube port version. (See the guide image. Note that the location of your bike's ports can differ from the example.)
     

How does the SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning work?

The SpeedBox is easily controlled via the light switch:

  • Lights off: SpeedBox is activated.
  • Lights on: SpeedBox is deactivated.

If you want to operate the tuning independently of the light function, leave the red wire disconnected during installation. This way, the SpeedBox remains always active. The Bluetooth version can also be controlled through the SpeedBox App.

 

Features and Compatibility:

  • Activation: SpeedBox App or light button (light function must be activated)
  • Maximum speed: unlimited
  • Speed displayed:
    • Actual values up to 23km/h
    • SpeedBox App actual values at all times
  • Compatibility:
    • Shimano motors: E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000
    • SpeedBox App
  • E-bikes that generally do not have a free E-Tube port:
    • Bikes with a Di2 electronic shifter
    • Bikes with an integrated frame ON/OFF switch (EW-SW100, EW-SW300)
    • E-bikes with an E5000 motor

Note on system updates!

Software updates for your e-bike can affect the functioning of the SpeedBox. If the box stops working after an update, this fault is not covered by warranty. We recommend disconnecting the SpeedBox before performing a software update and reinstalling it afterwards. We do not recommend updating your bike's software.

Please note that using such modified e-bikes on public roads might be illegal. The manufacturer and retailer are not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of SpeedBox products. E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products should not be used on public roads, bike paths, and public spaces. These e-bikes should be used exclusively on private property and at your own risk. Using the SpeedBox may void your bike’s warranty. We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective equipment to prevent injuries.

We do not recommend updating your bike's software, as updates can affect the box's functionality.

SpeedBox App SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning for Shimano

The SpeedBox App is specifically designed for SpeedBox B.Tuning, using Bluetooth technology to connect your e-bike to your mobile phone. After downloading the app and connecting your mobile phone to your e-bike, you can view current information and ride parameters right on your phone. Individual rides can be saved, allowing you to compare results with friends and track your performance together. So just enjoy the ride and leave checking the parameters for later use!

SpeedBox B.Tuning is not limited to functioning with the SpeedBox app. However, it is an excellent tool that gives you a complete overview of your ride.

Download the SpeedBox app to your phone just before ordering the SpeedBox B.Tuning chip. You can try our demo version and explore all the amazing features while ensuring that the app works perfectly on your phone. To connect with SpeedBox B.Tuning, your phone must have Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.
