The detailed precision chain gauge - CYCLUS TOOLS chain wear indicator efficiently and accurately determines when it's time to replace your chain. If a worn chain isn't replaced in time, the performance of the gears will deteriorate. Additionally, the sprockets and chainrings will wear prematurely and will also need to be replaced. The chain gauge makes it easy to measure the wear of the chain. The measurement result is independent of the chain's size and model. All ½ inch chains, including SRAM® AXS®, can be measured. The degree of wear is displayed on a simple scale. The display "Stop" means = 1% chain stretch. Most bicycle chain manufacturers recommend changing the chain as follows: at 0.5% stretch (11-13 speeds), 0.75% (9-10 speeds) 1% (all other chains). Quick and easy measurement. Easy readability.
