The PureGrip compound is specially developed for Performance series tires, where durability and good grip are a priority. BlackChili is Continental's top-developed rubber compound, which produces 26% less rolling resistance and 30% more grip, compared to regular rubber compounds. Additionally, it increases durability by 5% thanks to ProTection technology, which provides a perfect combination of smooth rolling, grip, and puncture protection. This is achieved with an extra puncture protection layer, making the tire very durable and fully protected against damage. Despite the extra layer, the tire offers excellent damping and performs well in the toughest terrains. ProTection models are also compatible with Tubeless rims.
