The made-in-Germany RaceSport and ProTection models make use of BlackChili rubber compound, combining protection and speed.

Despite its coarse tread pattern, the Cross King rolls quickly and lightly. The ProTection variant with special puncture resistance is designed for intense use, whereas the lighter RaceSport version is better suited for off-road and marathon courses.

BlackChili is Continental's top-tier rubber compound that generates 26% less rolling resistance and 30% more grip than regular rubber, and also enhances wear resistance by 5%!

Thanks to ProTection technology, these tires offer the perfect combination of smooth rolling, grip, and puncture resistance. This is achieved with an extra puncture protection layer, making the tire extremely durable and fully protected against damage. Despite the additional layer, the tire offers excellent damping and performs well in the toughest terrains.
