The RaceSport and ProTection models from the Made in Germany range utilize the BlackChili compound, blending protection and speed.

Despite its rugged tread pattern, the Cross King rolls quickly and lightly. The ProTection variant, with its special puncture protection, is designed for intense use, while the lighter RaceSport version is better suited for off-road riding and marathons.

BlackChili is a highly refined rubber compound by Continental, providing 26% less rolling resistance and 30% more grip than regular rubber compounds. It also increases durability by 5%!

Thanks to ProTection technology, the tires offer the perfect combination of smooth rolling, grip, and puncture resistance. This is achieved with an additional puncture protection layer, making the tire extremely durable and fully protected against damage. Despite the extra layer, the tire has excellent damping properties and performs well in the toughest terrains.

ProTection models are also compatible with tubeless rims.
